The XVD™ Professional SD-RX2000 is a real-time SDTV decoder, providing greater efficiency and improved performance, with low latency using next generation XVD™ technology.
The SD-RX2000 decodes and delivers an XVD-SD data stream from a DVB-ASI input or one of two Ethernet ports connected to a LAN or IP broadband network. The XVD input stream is decoded into SD-SDI format according to the original resolution and frame rate. With two Ethernet ports, the SD-RX2000 can receive and decode an XVD data stream on one port, and re-transmit the stream on the other port for digital turn-around operations. Audio output includes embedded (SDI) output of up to eight channels, four AES/ABU digital (2-channels each) and two analog channels.
As a component in a high-performance XVD digital media networking system, the SD-RX2000 offers a substantial increase in bandwidth utilization, and reduced latency in satellite, microwave or Telco links.
