The XVD™ Enterpprise SD-RX150 is a real-time, economical SDTV decoder delivering high-resolution video with high quality audio across IP-based networks. Utilizing next generation XVD™ technology, the SD-RX150
provides the highest quality (full D1) resolution video over an IP
link within a single T1 bandwidth.
The SD-RX150 decodes XVD-SD data packets from an SD-TX150 encoder
operating in mini-server mode or in directed mode. It decodes and delivers analog video (NTSC or PAL) and associated audio that has been encoded at data rates between
100 Kbps to 2.2 Mbps . It can also work in conjunction with
XVD Streaming Server to provide the decoding function for real-time
video webcast.
Using in conjunction with the SD-TX150 encoder, data is streamed as either TCP/IP or RTP with XVDTH’s FEC algorithms for packet reliability
and Network monitoring functions. The IP address of the SD-TX150, and transport mode, is changeable only by administrative personnel (for network security).
