NHK Awarded XVD CamCast the "Most Outstanding Award"
XVD wins "Most Outstanding Award"
Tokyo - February 23, 2006 - NHK exhibits Program Technology Exhibition held end of February. NHK presented various awards during the exhibition, XVD CamCast HD Products was awarded the “Most Outstanding Award” as result of performance improvement and joint development.
The XVD CamCast HD product is extremely favorable and suitable for use in emergency news coverage and “Live” broadcasting. The portable HD unit is a low cost solution used in newsrooms receiving real-time news content effortless and timely manner. The exhibition demonstration involved real-time HD transmission over wireless LAN with portable backpack incasing XVD HD product. The same setup used in NHK’s @Human “Live Broadcast” series and press conference.
