The XVD™ Professional HD-RX2000 is a real-time HD and SD video and audio decoder. Utilizing next generation XVD™ technology, the HD-RX2000 enables users to achieve high-quality and performance at all data rates, including low data-rate applications, and is superior to competitive systems over poor-quality Internet links.

The HD-RX2000 decodes an XVD-HD or SD data stream from DVB-ASI or one of two Ethernet inputs from a LAN or IP broadband network. The XVD input stream is decoded into HD or SD-SDI format according to the original resolution and frame rate.

The XVD digital media acquisition and delivery system is comprised of the HD-TX2000 encoder and HD-RX2000 decoder. This high-performance system enables a substantial increase in bandwidth utilization, and lower cost of operation in satellite, microwave and IP links. This powerful encode-decode system delivers low end-to-end system latency. br>
The HD-RX2000 is an integral element of the XVD NewsHound IISM "go anywhere" HD/SD wireless link.
